tactile linear or clicky

The real question is whether someone goes tactile or clicky? I feel like I'd love to use clicky for anything which doesn't involve me listening to something. I feel I type quicker and everything is that little bit more responsive. I will say though that if you like large key travel, then this keyboard will not be for you because it is simply a more compact travel keyboard. Also, linear switches aren’t as great for typing as tactile switches since they offer no feedback. a few of them are "clickier" than the others". The main difference between linear and tactile switches is that linear switches provide no feedback when depressed while tactile switches provide bumps that let you know they have been pressed. Inconsistency with switches on the tactile version. Smooth, responsive quick typing experience with great build quality In all honesty I got VERY used to the G603's wrist rest so its going to be a bit of a transition period for me. Whether you need a wrist rest will vary person to person. It has a thing you can use to evidently adjust the height and when set to max the keyboard really comes to life. Well, ergonomics wise this keyboard lacks a wrist rest. Also I love the space bar and how easy it is to press down. This tactile version is honestly so quiet compared to the old one. I didn't get the clicky version as I thought it would be a bit too noisy when playing games. Anyway, its really really nice to type on, The switches are QUIET. I bought the tactile version and I can't imagine the linear version being very satisfying because the low travel distance combined with the no tactile bump would surely feel a bit membraney. Things seem more responsive due to the lower travel but if you like a big travel distance, this keyboard is ultimately going to dissapoint you. The travel distance is definitley lower but it does seem to actually help in regards to my typing speed. This has to be the quietest mechanical keyboard I've ever used.

the software is decent too, a bit complicated but its all there. For a wireless RGB keyboard with lots of battery life, its great. Honestly its just so smooth and reponsive.

The old ones were just stiff and weird, these are a clear upgrade. Switches: Logitech low-profile GL (tactile, linear, or clicky) Keycaps: ABS Connectivity: 2.4GHz wireless via USB dongle, Bluetooth, or USB Wired Backlighting: RGB Per-key Volume roller: Yes. They're not a much more easy to press material than the old ones. Unlike other reviewers, I quite like the media keys. The main difference between linear and tactile switches is that linear switches provide no feedback when depressed while tactile switches provide bumps that let you know they have been pressed. Well firstly the build quality is in a class of its own. Hi mate, I've been playing with it for about 2 days.
